Shipping & Delivery Policy

Learn how Go Dokan processes, tracks, and delivers orders across Nepal.

This policy explains how Go Dokan coordinates Product collection, dispatch, tracking, and delivery.

1. Delivery Coverage

Go Dokan coordinates delivery through Go Delivery and approved courier partners.

Kathmandu

Standard Kathmandu delivery is generally free and expected within up to 48 hours after Order confirmation.

Outside Kathmandu

Delivery outside Kathmandu generally takes approximately 2–7 business days after confirmation.

Remote or special routes may have different delivery estimates or charges.

2. Delivery Providers

Orders may be delivered through:

  • Go Delivery
  • Approved courier partners
  • Other authorized delivery services where applicable

Tracking is provided where supported.

3. Order Processing

Before dispatch, Go Dokan and the relevant Vendor may:

  • Verify payment or approved credit.
  • Confirm Product availability.
  • Check serviceability.
  • Prepare the Product.
  • Package the Product.
  • Prepare required documentation.

4. Delivery Charges

Standard Kathmandu delivery is generally free.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Outside-Kathmandu delivery.
  • Heavy Products.
  • Oversized Products.
  • Special handling.
  • Air cargo.
  • Changed delivery routes.
  • Customer-requested rescheduling.

Applicable charges should be disclosed before confirmation where practicable.

5. Delivery Address

Customers should provide:

  • Complete address.
  • Landmark.
  • Active phone number.
  • Recipient information.
  • Useful delivery instructions.

Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delivery delays.

6. Proof of Delivery

Proof of delivery may include:

  • Signature.
  • OTP or delivery verification.
  • Timestamp.
  • Status scan.
  • Photograph where lawful.
  • Written acknowledgement.

7. Delivery Delays

Delivery may be delayed because of:

  • Weather.
  • Festivals.
  • Holidays.
  • Strikes.
  • Road closures.
  • Natural disasters.
  • Remote routing.
  • Regulatory inspection.
  • Vendor delays.
  • Network disruptions.

Where appropriate, Go Dokan may provide an updated delivery estimate.

8. Failed Delivery

Delivery may fail because of:

  • Incorrect address.
  • Customer unavailable.
  • Customer cannot be contacted.
  • Customer refusal.
  • Failed verification.

A further delivery attempt may be arranged where possible.

Repeated failures may result in Return to Origin (RTO).

9. Lost, Damaged, or Wrong Products

If an order is lost, damaged, or incorrectly delivered, Go Dokan may investigate using:

  • Tracking records.
  • Handover records.
  • Delivery records.
  • Proof of delivery.
  • Customer evidence.

The applicable remedy may include:

  • Redelivery.
  • Replacement.
  • Refund.
  • Other remedy required by applicable law.

10. Restricted Deliveries

Some Products may require special handling or may not be available for certain destinations.

Examples include:

  • Hazardous Products.
  • High-value Products.
  • Fragile Products.
  • Oversized Products.
  • Temperature-sensitive Products.
  • Regulated Products.

Illegal or improperly licensed Products will not be dispatched.
